Set-up

Visiting Team swimmers and parents can set up in the area denoted on the overlay of our facilities below (purple circled areas).

We will have two parking spots reserved for visiting equipment vehicles directly next to where the visiting teams set up. These spaces are located adjacent to the basketball court on Falling Brook Drive. All other parking should be at Greentree Elementary School as outlined below.

Parking

As mentioned above, parking is available at Greentree Elementary School, which is located just West of the pool on Brook Shadow Drive, (near West Lake Houston Parkway) – 2 blocks away from the pool complex. We will have "No Parking" signs placed on the streets adjacent to the pool to clearly mark where parents can't park. What we have found out the hard way is we are unable to get emergency vehicles down the street if parents park on both sides of the street. Please let your parents know that we will have two HPD officers on bikes writing tickets with the option to tow cars at their discretion if they are parked in areas where the signs are placed. GTR Gators cannot be responsible for vehicles that are towed and/or damaged.

Handicapped Parking

We have a handicapped parking area in front of the clubhouse as denoted on the overlay of our facilities below. Please let your parents know that these spots are reserved for handicapped parents/grandparents and the handicapped parking area is not a drop off zone.Meet LogisticsWe will enter and exit the swimmers per the overlay of our facilities below. Ready Benches will be meant for swimmers and swimmers only. Would ask that parents and/or siblings not swimming in a heat do their best to not linger in the ready bench area.

Concessions

We have a full breakfast and lunch set up. Please find our menu below. Cash or Charge will be accepted at the window so by all means please let the moms and dads know, especially for the younger swimmers that we will have non-candy options for breakfast and lunch.

This year we have added a new item to our menu in honor of a member of the Gator Family, Joey Dunleavy. Knowing Joey’s love of food and devotion to the Gators concession stand and wanting to honor his memory with a new menu item we landed on the Joey Burger. The Joey Burger is built from Joey’s favorite toppings: double meat, double cheese, grilled onions, and spicy ketchup.

In Joey’s honor, all proceeds from the sale of the Joey Burger will go to the JED Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting emotional health for teens and young adults.

Our Gator family would like to thank Joey’s family for helping us celebrate and honor their son. We really think of ourselves and Visiting Teams as one big Gator Family, and we want everyone to know whom is struggling with mental health, please ask for help. You are important, you do matter, there is help for you, and things do get better.
