The board is so excited to have Time Trials to start the season off. Be sure to let us know if they are ATTENDING or NOT ATTENDING on the Website. Log in-- click on the meet tab-- click on meet entry-- select your swimmer as attending or declining.

Here is a schedule for Saturday Time Trials: (other meet schedules are different)

7:45-- Listen to the announcer. Timer and Scribe Meeting will be held to explain your responsibilities.

8:20- National Anthem and 1st Shift Timers and Scribes to their positions.

    8:30-- Start the meet.

??-- Event 41 starts and 2nd shift makes their way to relieve first shift timers and scribes. Announcer will let you know when to go over to relieve.

    Helpful Tips:

    • Bring your sharpie and write your child’s last name and event # on their arm or back shoulder ask a veteran swim parent what to do.
    • Please encourage your child to hang out in the age tent. Let them get to know each other and have fun.
    • Pay attention to the announcer. They will let you know what events, what’s going on, and when to send kids to the ready bench.
    • If you are a veteran swim parent, please help anyone new to learn the ropes.
    • Concessions will be open with breakfast and snacks. Bring cash or you can zelle to [email protected]
    • Please help clean up your area at the end of the meet.
    • Ready bench will begin at the entrance at the north side of the pool.
    • Your swimmer can wear whatever swimsuit they want to time trials.
    • Your swimmer will do every event (they will only swim events they have worked on at practice) to get a base time for the season. There will not be relays at time trials. Relays are formed for the first dual meet off of the times from this one.

We are excited to see what our swimmers can do Saturday and look forward to seeing you all there. Time trials always will feel a little chaotic—especially for new swimmers and families—but bear with us and I promise it gets easier.
