Mia M., Chloe W. and Mayah W. all won the high point awards in their age groups this morning at Summer Champs. Our 11 and up swimmers are competing RIGHT NOW. We are so excited to hear how they do!

This is the last week of regular season practice. Next week, June 16-20, will be for end of season invitationals (Ponderosa and All Stars) participants only.

Next Meet

Saturday we have our final regular season meet and it’s a BIG ONE. It’s Divisionals at Summer Creek High School. This is a different location than originally planned. Summer Creek High School is located at 14000 Weckford Blvd, Houston, TX 77044, and it is an indoor set up. We will be swimming against the other five teams in our division. Every swimmer that has swam at two meets can participate at Divisionals. This is the last meet before All Stars and Ponderosa, so if you are needing a specific event to try and qualify for these end of season inviationals, please let the coaches know in the notes. Only one relay is allowed from each team at this event, so there will not be “B” or “C” relays.

Our Division (White 1) is offering these fun shirts and tanks to represent our teams during our Divisional meet on June 14. The deadline to preorder yours is today.

Awards Night

Awards Night will be June 19 at 6pm at the Bull Sallas Showbarn. Every swimmer will be recognized for their efforts this season. We are excited to introduce some new awards this year in addition to highlighting our high point winners and Invitational qualifiers. We hope your family can make it. You can RSVP by declaring for the event on our website, just like a meet. We will have a dessert bar for everyone, but we are offering fajitas by Eels sponsor Casa de Martha for $7 a person. Please preorder your meal ticket this week if you’d like to have dinner at the event by paying via Zelle or cash or check at the pool. Each coach will have a basket available at Awards Night where you can put any gifts or cards to thank them for their work this season. Here is a list of their favorite things if you need some ideas. They also love handwritten notes from swimmers.

• Declare for Divisionals at Summer Creek High School. Swimmers must have competed in at least two dual meets to compete, but there is no time standard.
• There are three volunteer shifts. This is your last meet opportunity to get those shifts in. If you need help reaching 7 shifts, please reach out.
• RSVP for Awards Night, and purchase your dinner ticket.
• Complete the end of season survey.
