    Facility Reminders

We are guests of New Caney ISD. No meals in the stands, playing in elevators or the fountain, or balls on the turf. If there is an event happening in the community room, please stay on the natatorium side. We share the pool with NEHA, and we all hold each other to a high standard so that we can continue our partnerships with the district.

    Equipment Reminders

All swimmers should come to practice with a one-piece swimsuit and goggles they are comfortable in. Caps are helpful for protecting the hair and reducing drag. If you are unsure how to put on a cap, don’t hesitate to ask for help! It’s a learned skill. Caps and goggles are available for purchase through our team store, or onsite next week. Coach Isaiah has a few other pieces of optional equipment he recommends:

    • Fins teach proper foot placement for an improved kick. Look for “long blade training fins” (not snorkeling fins or short-blade fins, even though those are cooler colors).
    • Buoys isolate the leg muscles to build arm strength
    • Older swimmers may use paddles to learn proper arm place and improve their catch in the water.

Please reach out with any questions. See you at the pool TOMORROW!
