EMC Eels families,
Great job everyone at Time Trials yesterday! A huge thank you to all the families who doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled their shifts yesterday to help us run an efficient meet. We are so grateful for your help.
If you missed Time Trials, coaches will pull your swimmer from practice early this week to get their times.

rEELly Great Swimmers
All of our Eels who swam in their very first meet! You all were so brave doing something new and your coaches are so proud! (First time swim parents, the Board is proud of you too :) )

Merchandise
All Merchandise is in and should be picked up from the pool asap. Suits and team shirts are now available for exchanges or additional purchases.
Next Meet
Saturday is our first dual meet at the Trailwood Village Gators (2029 Thousand Pines Drive in Kingwood). You will receive all the information on this meet on Thursday, but I have attached information on parking below. Please declare your swimmer and sign up for a volunteer shift now.
Our first invitational meet is Sunday, May 17 at Klein Collins High School. Invitationals are optional, but a great opportunity for fun, fast races. Swimmers 12 and under must earn qualifying times in order to participate. They can use times from Time Trials or the dual meet at Trailwood. Swimmers 13 and over do not have to have qualifying times. The cost is $8 per individual event and not covered by the team. Any volunteer shifts given to our team by the host do not count toward your required 7 shifts. To register, declare via SwimTopia just like any other meet. The deadline to register is May 9 at 8pm.
Facility Reminders
The district has asked that parents accompany small children to the restrooms. The stalls, particularly the boys, have been abnormally messy.
