Our annual bingo night is May 19 at the EMC Senior Center at Bull Sallas Park. See the attached flyer for more information. Everyone is welcome at this super fun event, so bring your friends, neighbors, and grandparents. RSVP on SwimTopia (just like a meet) and get ready to win some sweet prizes and make memories with your swim friends! All payment will be taken at the door.
Coaches’ Notes
We are reaching the halfway point of the season, so it’s a great time to set some goals for the remaining meets. Use this time off to talk through both quantitative goals (qualifying for invitational meets below or breaking team records) and qualitative (trying a flip turn, diving off the blocks, trying a longer distance).
Invitational Announcements
Invitational meets are extra meets scheduled throughout the season to give swimmers another opportunity to work toward their goals and compete against other athletes in the area. These are all optional and have qualifying time standards. Any volunteer shift assigned to our team does not count toward your season requirement, and points earned do not count toward high point awards at the end of the season. Families pay for individual events via cash, check, or card ($10 minimum). The team pays for all relays.
