    EMC Eels families,

Thank you for being gracious hosts to Bear Branch yesterday. We received many compliments about how kind and helpful everyone was. Great job! Our swimmers finished the meet with a 43% improvement rating, 200 personal bests, and set 27 new team records.

Grayson T. swam his first 50 free since time trials and dropped FOUR MINUTES! He completed the event without using the lane line.

    Awards Night

Monday, June 15 we will celebrate ALL of our swimmers and their efforts this season with a cookout at Bull Sallas Showbarn. See the attached flyer for details. Please RSVP on SwimTopia like a meet so that we can plan for food. You can also sign up for a volunteer position if you still need a shift.

    Next Meet

Saturday, June 13 is our Divisional meet at Kingwood High School. Swimmers must have swam in at least two dual meets in order to be eligible to participate, but there are not qualifying times. You will declare like normal on SwimTopia. Due to the size of the meet, there will be three separate volunteer shifts, rather than the normal two. If you have older swimmers, please sign up for later shifts. All set up will be indoors. Please declare and sign up for jobs now.

    End of Season Invitationals

We encourage all qualifiers to attend Trinity Invitational. We offer Red, White, and Blue as an option if you have scheduling conflicts or prefer to not swim on Sundays (that Sunday in particular is Father’s Day). If you have questions about which End of Seasonal invitational meet is the best fit for your swimmer, talk to a board member at the pool. These are all optional and have qualifying time standards. Any volunteer shift assigned to our team does not count toward your season requirement, and points earned do not count toward high point awards at the end of the season. Families pay for individual events via cash, check, or card ($10 minimum). The team pays for all relays.
