This Saturday is our Divisional meet against the four other teams in the White 2 division. Because there will be more swimmers, the meet is structured a bit differently with warm up times and volunteer shifts. Please read this email carefully and reach out with questions. Job Signups have been reopened due to illnesses, so please sign up for a shift if you are able to help.

• 6:30a - Kingwood High School open for setup via sports commons entrance
• 7:30 Officials Meeting in Hospitality Room
• 7:30 Be sure to be Circled In (contact Aaron Wood if running late: 713-876-1930)
• 7:45-8:10 EMC Warm-Ups – Lanes 1-4
• 7:45 Coaches Scratch Meeting
• 8:00 Ready Bench Meeting(those working the ready bench meet at ready bench area)
• 8:00 Timer/Scribe Meeting in the small gym in the back hallway
• 8:20 Events 1-4 to the ready bench
• 8:25 Final Call Events #1 and #2 to ready bench
• 8:25 National Anthem
• 8:30 Start the meet! Event #1

The DJ will announce the different volunteer shifts. Please pay attention and go to your post when called so the meet runs smoothly.

• First Shift – Events 1 – 30
• Second Shift – Events 31 – 56
• Third Shift – Events 57 – 86

Things to Remember:

• Swimmer Check In and Volunteer Check in will be in the Sports Commons entrance area.

• Bring your chairs, but no tents are allowed. We will have a team set up area where we can all sit together and help get kids to the ready bench when their events are called. Please do not sit in an area reserved for another team.

• No set up or coolers are allowed in the stands. It will be full of people coming in and out to watch the swimmers. There is minimal room. We will be relying on people to watch their swimmer and leave to allow the next spectators to come in. Even if you have a swimmer in the next event, remember there are several heats of each event. No standing on the balcony rail, as it can block views.

• Any protests should be brought to Elizabeth Urgelles, our Team Rep. She is the proper channel to handle issues. Results are not valid in the app or on the scoreboard until they are verified by officials.

• Only swimmers and meet personnel are allowed on deck.

• If a swimmer missed their event, go to the Coach immediately to try and get placed into an event.

• Please report to your Volunteer positions promptly. Please do not leave your Volunteer position until your replacement arrives and you have shared duty information.

• Please clean up your area outside and in the stands.

End of Season Invitationals

Results from divisionals will be uploaded within an hour of the meet ending. You must let us know if you are attending an end of season invitational and what events you want to be in. Please have this done by Saturday night. Sunday morning we will be turning in meet entries. Practices next week are open to invitational swimmers only. They will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 5-7pm. Monday is Awards Night. 

Awards Night 

Awards night is Monday, June 13 at the Bull Sallas Showbarn at 6pm. We will have drinks and dessert free for everyone, but will also be cooking burgers and hotdogs for $10 a person. Please purchase your plates in advance so we can plan for food. There are volunteer positions available in the app. We would love for all the swimmers to shower the coaches with their appreciation. A handwritten card is always meaningful, but if you'd like to get them something extra, you can find a list of their favorite things here.
